Am Fost La Munte Și Mi-a Plăcut (Romanian for “I Went To The Mountains And I Liked It”) is a post-rock group based in Bucharest.

The group was formed in 2016 and has since performed at the renowned dunk!festival in Belgium, as well as Electric Castle, Rockstadt Extreme Fest, and other festivals in Europe.

Their discography includes three full-length records, the most recent of which (La Vale) was released via dunk!records on vinyl.

Over the years, AFLMSMP has shared the stage with bands such as God Is An Astronaut, Tides From Nebula, The Ocean, Leprous, Tesseract, and Katatonia.

Am Fost La Munte Și Mi-a Plăcut‘s fourth record is in the works and it will show the band further exploring their signature blend of riff-oriented post-rock and progressive music, with stoner inflexions and a focus on the songwriting techniques that have made it possible for AFLMSMP to remain original and to expand their sound from one record to another.

As the territory of contemporary experimental music is becoming explored in increasing depth around the world, AFLMSMP aims to improve their standing by placing emphasis on the areas they’ve always valued the most: writing hard-hitting, original music, and carrying out compelling live performances.
